In 2022 CWWPG began a major program to revamp our bulk wine production. Not only did we begin our transformation to purchasing grapes from sustainable vineyards, but we also began a major renovation to our facility. We implemented many new winemaking techniques and began the first sustainable wine wastewater treatment center to not only be environmentally friendly but also provide better irrigation water and compost for our vineyards. One of our visionary owners and Washington Wine Hall of Fame legend, Richard Shaw, passed away after the 2023 Harvest. We continue to use Dick's inspiration, and guidance from his wife, Wendy Shaw, to make CWWPG a leader in the Washington Wine Industry.
